About Dream Topia Roleplay:
The art and designs for everything are pretty cool but I don’t like the direction a majority of the dates go in. Especially the last date of Joseph and Brian, it doesn’t feel enjoyable when I finish the game. The writing in general gets stale the more playthroughs I make and some of the achievements for the game are impossible to figure out on your own because they require a specific order of inputs in order to complete them and it’s honestly not that enjoyable to go through all the time and effort for a virtual achievement Desperately wish there was a neutral option. This scratches the otome game itch but doesn’t really satisfy as the ‘endings’ are not super satisfying. Great story and characters but they fail to really utilize them to their fullest. My biggest pet peeve is that this is deliberately focused on this being family’s yet never have you navigate trying to mesh and ultimately blend the families together. Like a family dinner date where you have to remember what kids eat what or something. The inclusivity of the binder bod, choosing your spouse’s gender, whether or not you adopted or birthed Amanda is absolutely exquisite. As a trans man I really appreciate the options, that most other games don’t give. I genuinely love the humor. When I have a kid of my own I hope I raise them just as well as Amanda was raised in this game. Sincerely, this is the greatest game about dads ever.
